Video Game Addiction: Amazing Must-Watch Video

Video games are a blessing and a curse. I know a gamer who lost his marriage over Counter-Strike. I also know a gamer who is still alive today because of her video gaming community. This video summarizes the two remarkably well -- props to the author!

Question: What are your thoughts on the video? Have you experienced any of this in your life, or the life of someone you know?

I hope to blog soon about some of my experiences with video gaming.

    Great video!

To a much lesser extent than most, it ruled my life for a time. I have also experienced gaming community at it's best (or close to it). I am also quite glad he mentioned the good, not just the bad of it all.

But you're a little wrong when you say "Video games are a blessing and a curse.", or maybe not.

    I think:
Video Games (generally speaking) are a blessing OR a curse and whether it be blessing or curse is up to the choices of the player.
