Apart from missions trips to Scotland, I have also had the privilege to intern with Campus for Christ (C4C), developing tools for campus ministry as well as free online training for the “The Global Learning Center”.
This summer, I am interning with C4C again on a project called “WaterLoo Project”, “LooP” for short. Below’s a cool promotional video about the project.
On Thursday, I’ll mention a few reasons as to why I chose to be a part.
What are you doing this summer?

"Take to heart all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day, so that you may command your children to obey all the words of this law. They are not just idle words for you — they are your life." Moses (Deuteronomy 32:46-47)
This summer, I am looking for creative ways to help my three children "take to heart" God's words. We have planted our first garden (my husband does all of the work) and we talk about God while we are watching our garden grow. We have started reading a Bible story after dinner because it I am too exhausted to read at bedtime. We play a game called "Lost Sheep" (based on Matthew 18:10-14). It is our version of hide-and-go-seek. The kids are the sheep and I am the shepherd. They love it. We also play "Lost coin" (based on Luke 15:8-10). I hide loose change and then the kids find it. Placing God's word in their hearts is my biggest challenge and my greatest joy.
wow! Thanks for sharing Sara – that's a great vision – inspires me more to take my summer seriously
