This is something I wasn’t sure about for a while – for some reason I thought that he might have gone to Hell, done things there etc., which probably got into my head through some false teaching. Either way, I recently happened upon this video from Marc Driscoll clearly explaining what happened. All the work that Jesus had to do was finished on the cross, and Jesus was in paradise following his death by crucifixion.
